Prince of Wales Garden
This award-winning public bar has become a meeting place in Town and hub for evening entertainment throughout the week.
Set within a conservation area, this small car park on the opposite side of the road to the Prince of Wales Public House posed an interesting challenge when we were approached to transform the space into an al fresco bar/dining area. The result is a small bar with a sheet lead roof incorporating vertical timber cladding providing toilet facilities and a kitchenette enclosed by the original listed granite walls. External lighting, halogen heating and electrical heated external granite seating creates a contemporary public bar environment in the summer months.
