TDA were appointed by Guernsey Housing Association to maximise the development potential of a site which formed part of Les Islets Arsenal.  Within this site, there was a German command centre and a number of other smaller shelters and stores.  Our brief was to retain the command centre and we therefore had to investigate the feasibility of constructing on top of the existing bunker in order to make full use of the site.

Three houses were constructed in this location as well as a block of 5 apartments further into the site.  As with all GHA properties, this new development provides high quality social housing which exceeds current Building Control requirements.
