Dolphins - May 2024

Construction of a new dwelling recently commenced on site at Jerbourg. TDA have worked closely with Baufritz over the last 18 months with a view to delivering this large open market property in St Martins. The new building follows the contours of the site and will have a semi-basement structure incorporating a pool and leisure facilities on the lower level. This structure was created utilising pre-fabricated hollow retaining planks which were lifted into place before the insitu concrete was poured to create the basement. The new Baufritz building is currently being manufactured in Erkheim, Southern Germany, and will begin its journey to Guernsey in July 2024. Incredibly, the basement was formed on site within 3 weeks and the main house will be erected in a similar time period. A fit-out will then take place on site where all the finishes will be installed, with a view to completing the works during Spring 2025.
